The Zadar region is surrounded by no less than five national parks: Paklenica, Kornati archipelago , Plitvice Lakes, Krka waterfalls and Northern Velebit.In only an hour or two by car or by boat it is possible to reach the national parks from all the tourist resorts in the region.
Telascica (a bay on Dugi Otok), lake Vrana (the largest natural lake in Croatia), Zrmanja river and the Velebit Mountains are all protected nature parks. In 1978, UNESCO proclaimed Velebit a world biosphere reserve.
Our agency obtained the approval of the Ministry of Culture as well as the board of the Velebit Nature Park for the organization of rambling and hiking trips within the park.
